The opening of the Dressing station situated on the corner of Washway Road and Raglan Road in Sale. The location of the dressing station is close to where the church has been built. The reason for opening the station was because of the number of road accidents occurring in the area, this stretch of the road was known locally as the "Terror Stretch".
