The report presents the results of an anchaeological desk-based assessment of the proposed Altair development in Altrincham carried out by the University of Manchester Archaeological Unit. The aim was to identify, as far as reasonably possible, the nature of the archaelolgical resource within the study area and to make appropriate recommendations for the future treatment of any archaeological remains affected by the proposed development.
