Handwritten on parchment in black ink 'Faculty for securing the East Gallery in Saint Thomas's Church old Trafford to Henshaw's Blind Asylum and the West Gallery in the said church to the Manchester Deaf and Dumb institution. Entered into the 'Registry of the Diocese of Manchester' book 3 pages 32 to 37 inclusive. The document is the statement of the Church of England recognising the church as a place of worship
