Wibbersley Red Cross Hospital, Flixton. A generous offer in September, 1914 was made by Dr. and Mrs Smith of Altrincham to use Wibbersley as a Hospital. The building, a large private residence surrounded by spacious and beautiful grounds, lent itself admirably for conversion into a hospital, and the first contingent of patients arrived on October 14th.
