Engraved map showing towns, villages, hundreds, hills, parks, meres, sand-banks, rivers, roads and bridges. Top left centre, the title in a large cartouche. Bottom left, the imprint; right, three scales (great, middle and small miles respectively). The border is formed by a thick line and a double inner line marked off into degrees and minutes of latitude and longitude. The latter is based on the meridian of London and this is the first map of the county to show the same. In the top border "Minutes of Time" are shown by the Roman numerals VIII to XII.
