Zaginiona

Coben, Harlan, 1962-2010
Book
Myron Bolitar has been without contact with his former lover, Therese Collins, for over seven years. Suddenly, she calls him asking for help. Therese's husband, Rick, whom Myron had no idea about, was supposed to meet his wife in Paris. He wanted to give her some important information, but he has vanished without a trace. After a moment of hesitation, Bolitar decides to fly to Europe. In France, an unpleasant surprise awaits him. At the airport, both are detained by the police. Rick, working as an investigative reporter, has been murdered, and Therese has become the prime suspect. One thing challenges this hypothesis. Traces of blood were found at the crime scene, and DNA testing revealed it belonged to the Collins' long-dead daughter. As Myron delves deeper into the investigation, it becomes clear that someone desperately wants the truth to be revealed. What secrets lie hidden in Rick's past?
