Total copies: 1
Small white ceramics with the Altrincham Urban District Council motto 'Pax et Abundantia', and shield. According to H. Ellis Tomlinson, in 'The Heraldry of Cheshire', (1946) the shield of Massey was used by Altrincham U.D.C. prior to the town's adoption of new armorial bearings in 1937. Although aesthetically similar to one another, the ceramics were produced by a number of different makers.
