Booth Bank,Agden once the home of Mrs Alice Cross, where Wesley attended meetings of followers between 1747 and 1783 continued to be a meeting place for some years. This engraving is by S. Lacey and published by J. Mason, 14 City Road and 66 Paternoster Row. In Samuel Bagshaw's County Directory 1850 Booth Bank is listed and farmed by Thomas Cross. It was first dissected by the Bridgewater Canal and since then has been further divided by the motorway.
