Altrincham Bus Station, prior to Bus-Rail Interchange. The view of the bus station from Stamford New Road. The squat single decker bus next to the double decker is probably one of the specially built low buses that were used on the Warrington route through Dunham Massey. Ordinary buses would not go through the 'underbridge' as it was known, that takes the road underneath the Bridgewater canal just outside Dunham Park.
