Arthur Oxley

1900-1980
Archives
Arthur Oxley was born in Altrincham in 1900 and was the youngest grandson of John and Mary Oxley. In 1901 the family were living at 36 Chapel Street and by 1911 they had moved nearby to Albert Street. At the outbreak of war Arthur would have been too young to join the military. It is likely that he enlisted in about 1917, but no military records have been located.
