Miscellaneous information relating to the Kirkpatrick Brothers William and James originally from Scotland, the brothers were Granite Merchants and had a factory in Trafford Park. They produced large scale memorials including the War Memorial in St John's Garden,Liverpool, a statue of the Duke of Devonshire in Horse Guards Avenue,London and Lord Ripon in the Ripon Spa Gardens . Other known works include Known works- Bury War Memorial ,Chadderton War Memorial, Oldham - Frederick William Pomeroy (pedestal by the Kirkpatrick Brothers ),Anglo Belgian memorial on the Victoria Embankment along the river Thames,Chattri Memorial in Brighton (listed) unveiled by the Prince of Wales February 21st 1921
