This is a photograph of Dunham Mill on the Dunham Estate. It was built in 1616 by 'Old' Sir George Booth as part of an improvement plan of the Dunham Estate. This view shows the stone butresses, furthest away in the photograph, on either side of the arch that carried the water away from the wheel housed within the mill.
