Stretford House was opened in 1968. The twenty three storey block of flats were built for Stretford Corporation. The architects were Cruickshank and Seward of Manchester, the main contractors Matthews and Munnby Ltd of Denton , Manchester and the Glaziers were Wright and Offland Limited, Manchester.
