Baguley Hall (NGR SJ 8162 8874) is located to the south of Manchester, Wythenshawe. The area covered by the Conservation Plan includes the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Baguley Hall, also a grade 1 listed building and its immediate surroundings. The property was taken over by the Department of the Environment in 1969 and is currently held by English Heritage.An archaeological and architectural survey was carried out on Baguley Hall in the 1970s by the Greater Manchester Archaeological Unit as part of a repair and restoration programme.The two volumes are intended to be consulted with reference to each other.
